Abduh commenced his legal career in 2015 by reading in the chambers of Dato’ Lim Chee Wee of Messrs Skrine. There, he was retained as an Associate and was involved in a range of commercial and civil litigation relating to shareholders disputes, a breach of directors duties case, enforcement of an Anton Pillar Order in a multimillion dollar fraud, shipping and freight logistical disputes, as well as securities litigation and regulatory enforcement cases, amongst other things. He was also exposed to corporate recovery exercises, winding-up and liquidation of companies, as well as enforcement of banking securities.

In mid-2017, Abduh was offered to join the Malaysian Judicial and Legal Service. There, his first posting was as Special Officer III to the 8th Chief Justice of Malaysia, YABhg Tun Raus Sharif. He gained a wealth of experience in serving the No. 1 post in the Judiciary, especially in research and in the preparation of land mark rulings of the Federal Court. In that office, he was also privileged to have sat as Registrar when the Federal Court was seating in Sabah and Sarawak. Upon the retirement of the 8th Chief Justice, Abduh was then posted as Senior Assistant Registrar at the Appellate and Special Powers Court, under YA Datuk Hajjah Azizah binti Haji Nawawi (Her Ladyship has since been elevated to the Court of Appeal). He also regularly sat as Magistrate, in Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur during his time in the Judicial Service.

Upon establishing HAP, Abduh has widened his scope of work to include conveyancing and land disputes, general corporate advisory as well as probate & administration of estate. His clients range from individuals, SMEs, statutory bodies, semi-government operations and private and public listed companies.

Abduh brings to the table a unique skill set, having sat on both sides of the Court room. He has had the privilege of experiencing very few his age have or may experience in their lifetime. Abduh aims high and always finds a client-oriented and cost-effective approach at solving any legal dispute.
